Terms and Conditions
These can be used for either guiding or skills training (or a mix of the two!) and can be used 1:1 or for the recipient to treat up to 5 friends (6 participants in total) to a Sublime day out!
We're happy to agree the date prior to purchase, or for the recipient to make their own choice upon receipt of their gift. We do ask that the voucher is used within one year of purchase, please. We can either post the voucher to the purchaser or directly to the recipient or send an e-voucher, via e-mail, please state your preference when ordering.
The wording on the voucher can be personalised to your taste with the name of the recipient and a message for the special occasion. Vouchers must be paid for upfront and in full. We regret that vouchers can not be refunded but a change of date will be accomodated as per our cancellation policy.
Here is a sample to show what the voucher will look like
Once a date has been agreed, a minimum £40 deposit will be required to confirm your booking; you can pay this on-line when you choose your date or we will be happy to send you an invoice on-line. Once we receive your deposit we will send you an e-mail confirmation and further information, including what to wear and bring with you. The balance will be required prior to the ride, either via Paypal or cash on the day, if preferred.
If you cancel: The £40 deposit is non-refundable, however, we will always do our best to accommodate a change of date or location, at no extra charge. The more notice you give us the easier this is. Unavoidable things happen, sometimes at the last minute, we understand this and will always do our best to help you out.
If we have to cancel: This is extremely rare and in that circumstance we will offer an alternate date or refund all monies paid, your preference.
Weather: We will always go ahead with your ride whatever the weather, the information we provide in your confirmation e-mail includes advice on what to bring and wear depending on the forecast conditions, please ensure you are well prepared. If the guide has to cancel the ride because you are not prepared for the conditions we will not be able to offer a refund.
Route / Rider Ability: Please bear in mind that our guide may decide to change the route at any time during the ride to ensure your safety. This may include, changing the nature of the ride towards skills coaching to ensure that you or your group have the necessary skills to ride the trails; responding to changing weather conditions (switching to a suitable low level ride and or more sheltered location in wet / cold / windy weather); altering the technicality of the route to a lower level of difficulty (to ensure that it is within the capabilities of all of the members of your group). The ride will continue for the alloted time but we will not be able to offer a refund.
Remember: You are the rider, holding the bars, steering the bike and applying the brakes. If you are ever unsure about whether you have the ability to ride the trail infront of you you should speak to your guide, who will always be happy to give you some tuition or coaching and/or change the difficulty of trail to suit you. If you are still unsure then we advise that you walk the section which concerns you and carry on riding when you feel comfortable.
